Bison City Rod & Gun, located on Ohio Street in Buffalo, hosts their annual "Teach Me to Fish" event with full participation and support from the Erie County Federation! DEC biologists provided live and mounted samples of fish and pond life. Seasoned fishermen taught how to tie the Palomar Knot and "the art of casting". The boy scouts were on hand to assist and to earn their fishing merit badge.

East Aurora Fish & Game on Luther Road in East Aurora, NY hosts their annual "Teach Me to Fish event with participationa and support from the Erie County Federation. Prizes are awarded by age group, with many participants receiving a new fishing pole and reel combo!
